The Australian Ukulele Show
The Australian ukulele show (TAUS) takes you on a wonderful musical journey paying tribute to the people, the music and events that have made an impact on this great southern land.
They pay homage to the traditional owners and custodians who have been living here for over 40,000yrs and open the show with the captivating spiritual sound of the didgeridoo, accompanied by a Tommy Emmanuel instrumental 'Initiation'. This is followed by hit songs from Yothu Yindi, Troy Casser-Daley & the Warumpi band to complete their introduction.
The first fleet, The colonial period, Banjo Patterson, Our ANZACS and many others right through to grammy award winning artists of today are all included in this tribute to the life and music of Australia.
TAUS is made up of professional musicians and vocalists from different backgrounds who use their years of experience to share this wonderful story through their harmonies, musicality and presentation.
You will be engaged, inspired and totally surprised at the immense sound and power this group produces as they take you on a musical journey sharing a wonderful Australian story all powered by the might and essence of the ukulele.
