Ride Like A Girl
Danielle Goullet – (your Melbourne Cup MC and guest vocalist with Ride Like A Girl ) is a performer of international standard having worked with artists including Marcia Hines, Doug Parkinson, Rhonda Burchmore, Tim Campbell, and Natalie Bassingthwaighte. Her career began in television where she was a regular on Channel 7’s Super Saturday with Agro [aka Jamie Dunn.] She has also appeared in national theatre productions including Cats, Godspell, The King and I and was featured in the first 2 production shows at Jupiter’s Casino being Starz and Galaxies.
Danielle was part of the Oz Hornz and the Sisterz show band which appeared across Australasia and won Best band in the Qld Club Awards. She appeared as a guest cabaret entertainment on the P & O Cruise Ships for many years. Danielle was awarded a George Wallace Award for Best New Talent and continues to appear across S.E Qld in her successful Danielle Goullet Presents cabaret shows.
Danielle also runs a successful events company called Australian Events and Entertainment and provides entertainment for the corporate and club industries as well as creating major outdoor concerts including the popular Tastes of Paradise Food Festival, the NYE Spectaculars at Paradise Point, and the Christmas Carols in the Park events for the City of Gold Coast.
Debbie Fitzsummons (Ride Like A Girl ) has a wealth of experience in all areas of entertainment. Australian champion organist at the age of 15, she was concert organist for many organ houses, & released a solo album at age 19.
She then expanded her horizons to become a backing musician, playing piano and keyboards in Showrooms for many Australian and International performers including: Joe Longthorne, Johnny Tillotson, Tom Jones, Phyllis Diller, Max Bygraves, Reg Varney, Wickety Wak, Simon Gallaher, Debra Byrne, Julie Anthony, Judy Stone, Sandy Scott, Rhonda Burchmore, Kerri-Ann Kennerley & Gina Jefferies.
For 12 years, Debbie was assistant musical director for “The Four Kinsmen”. During that period, she travelled Australia with the group (including annual Christmas seasons here in Adelaide) performed at the America’s Cup in San Diego & toured the USA. Debbie was musical director for the groups’ season at the Hacienda Hotel in Las Vegas, & for their TV appearances on “The Midday Show” & “Good Morning Australia”.
Since settling back on the Gold Coast, she has formed the popular female vocal trio “Delisch” & duo “No Secrets”. Both are equally in demand with clubs & corporate functions. She is also a respected teacher in the Tweed area.
Christina Wilson (Ride Like A Girl ) has been singing up a storm on the Gold Coast since the 70’s, including touring with the “Ice Frolics” as Singer and Compere, and shows with the likes of Lovelace Watkins, Chelsea Brown & Ron Lees. The 80’s found Christina fronting the Gold Coast band “Apple Jack”, and a seven-year stint at Twin Towns Services Club during which they supported artists such as USA’s songsmith Paul Williams. More recently, Christina has been a member of the very popular ;ocal band Delisch with Debbie. Her stunning vocal style secures her position as one of the Gold Coast’s best loved sweet hearts of song.
Timo Sutton (Token boy for Ride Like A Girl )
Professional percussionist and drummer for over 25 years Timo Sutton brings the beat, boom, and crash to Ride Like A Girl. As a percussionist he is internationally regarded. For the past 10 years he has been a renowned member of the Best of the Bee Gees Show. Timo has travelled world wide with his love of music supporting official acts and tribute bands including Louie Shelton and the Canberra Philharmonic Orchestra
