With Shelley’s barrelhouse vocals and Lawrie’s twangy Gretsch guitar, this husband and wife team has built an Australia-wide reputation as a dynamic Rockabilly and Honky Tonk act.

From the Orleans Casino at Viva Las Vegas Festival in Las Vegas in 2015 to shows such as Melbourne Love Vintage Show, Gympie Music Muster, Viva Surfers Paradise and Tamworth Country Music Festival, they have been consistently wowing crowds wherever they play.

Shelley Minson launched her debut EP in 2015 with chart success in Europe and has just released her new single Rockabilly Man, produced by Lawrie and co-written with Australian music icon Ross Wilson.

Shelley’s first single was Bettie Bang and is a tribute to Pin Up Icon Bettie Page. It can be viewed at – https://youtu.be/DCgAeD4JyFI Bettie Bang was also used by Pin Up icon Cherry Dollface behind one of her widely viewed YouTube instructional videos.

Shelley has a love of 1950’s music and fashion and her photos have been featured in magazines such as Retro Lovely, Pin Up Skool and Pin Up America. She is also one of two winners in the Pin Up America World Wide Photo Contest 2014. She has written articles for Australia’s Pin Up Skool magazine including interviews with famous American pin-up models Micheline Pitt and Bernie Dexter.

Lawrie Minson is a multi-instrumentalist and has been awarded four Golden Guitars (the highest accolade in Australian Country Music) in his highly successful career and is well known to fans of Australian Country Music through his work with big stars such as Slim Dusty, Lee Kernaghan, Jimmy Barnes and James Blundell. Lawrie is also an accomplished songwriter having scored a #1 hit on the Australian Country Music charts with Scars, written by Lawrie, Lee Kernaghan, and Matt Scullion and recorded by Lee Kernaghan and US superstar Dierks Bentley. With their mix of Old Time Country and Rockabilly, Shelley and Lawrie have been winning hearts and making fans across the globe.

Lawrie & Shelley have just been confirmed to perform again at the world’s largest rockabilly festival Viva Las Vegas in 2017! It will be Viva’s 20th year running so is sure to be a huge event!
