For many years, the Rotary Club of Currumbin-Coolangatta-Tweed has held regular meetings at Twin Towns and are extremely proud of the association. Recently, a decision was made to move their Dinner Meetings to Tuesday evenings at 6pm in Gusti d’Italia restaurant.

Activities of Rotary International are varied and they have a strong commitment to national and international projects which incorporate a wide range of opportunities for people of all ages and backgrounds. Rotary International supports projects around the world such as the eradication of malaria and polio. They recently built a school in Vanuatu following a devastating cyclone.

Local charities that Rotary supports include the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, homeless and disability charities including Shaping Outcomes and Rhythm and Beauty, breakfast for Coolangatta State School students, playground equipment for Currumbin Special School, and drought and bushfire appeals.
