Stay local and play local in April because the best GAMES will be in your own backyard at your local Clubs – Club Banora and Twin Towns Juniors. April will be the biggest month in Club Banora’s history, with an unprecedented 29 days straight of games, activities and fun for kids, more live music and shows, and nonstop entertainment for every member of the family.
The program kicks off on Sunday 1 April from 12pm with a special Easter Kids Day and Easter Egg hunt, a visit from the Easter bunny, Easter egg decorating and Easter crafts, games and activities for children of all ages.
The fun continues right through to Sunday 29 April, taking in Queensland school holidays (30 March to 16 April) and New South Wales holidays (13-29 April).
For kids, there will be a daily program at Club Banora including outdoor movies, pony rides, petting zoos, huge inflatables, bubble soccer, facepainting, craft workshops, activities and challenges to win medals.
A pop-up refreshments bar will be set up outdoors at Club Banora, serving drinks and snacks. Bring along a picnic rug or folding chairs and relax on the greens for the kids’ movies every Thursday and Sunday from 6pm.
Two huge fireworks displays will take place at Club Banora (Thursday 26 April) and Juniors (Sunday 29 April).
Entertainment indoors at Club Banora amps up during April with additional programming to include live music Tuesday to Sunday nights. There will be four massive Friday night shows on the Club Banora stage from 7pm: Electric 80s (6 April); KISSperience (13 April ); Creedence: The John Fogerty Show (20 April); and ABBAlive (27 April).
Polish up the dancing shoes for a night of rock’n’roll every Saturday at Club Banora from 7.30pm with PPR Express (7 April); Buddy Love & The Tremors (14 April); Cooly Rocks On favourites, The Shuffle Boys (21 April); and Wally & The Gators (28 April).
Juniors gets in on the April action too with activities and entertainment for the kids every Wednesday and Sunday, including giant outdoor games, roving performers, costume characters and bubble shows.
Enjoy free live entertainment at Juniors with the family on Fridays and Saturdays from 5pm to 9pm and Sundays from 2.30pm to 6.30pm.
Getting around your local Clubs will be easier with additional club-to-club bus services activated between Twin Towns, Club Banora and Juniors. Travel between the Clubs with the kids and make the most of the program.
The full month-long program of events will be published in April Club News and distributed throughout the local area in mid-March.
