Twin Towns Conference & Function Centre team has put together a list of frequently asked questions. If you have a question about holding your function at Twin Towns that is not answered below, please call or send us an email. Is there parking at Twin Towns?2020-03-24T13:32:16+10:00

Free parking is available at Twin Towns. A multi-level underground car park is located below Mantra Twin Towns, across the road from Twin Towns main building. Access to this car park is via Stuart Street. Use the covered overhead walkway to enter the Club’s reception.  The Mantra car park opens at 6am daily and closes at 12am. There is also undercover parking and some outdoor parking spaces on the ground level of the Twin Towns main building; entry via Boundary Street. 

Is there accommodation at Twin Towns?2020-03-24T13:32:22+10:00

Mantra Twin Towns is located onsite, accessed by covered overhead walkway and just minutes’ walk from your wedding venue. Advise your wedding coordinator of your accommodation requirements and once your wedding is confirmed, they can provide a link to access discounted rates for you and your guests at Mantra Twin Towns. Many bridal parties and their families choose to stay inhouse at Mantra Twin Towns for a day or so ahead of their wedding to allow them to relax and prepare for the big day without the need to travel.

Is Twin Towns in Queensland or New South Wales?2020-03-24T13:32:56+10:00

Twin Towns is located at 1 Wharf Street, Tweed Heads so the physical address is New South Wales. However, the main Twin Towns building couldn’t be closer to the border. The border marker is right outside the door.

Does Twin Towns operate on Daylight Saving Time (DST)?2023-04-24T14:36:14+10:00

No, for the convenience of Twin Towns 20,000-plus members that reside in Queensland, Twin Towns operates on Eastern Standard Time (EST) or Queensland time during DST. Club Banora at Banora Point and Twin Towns Juniors at Tweed Heads South, however, both operate on DST.

Note: Daylight Saving Time commences at 2am on the first Sunday in October every year and ends at 2am on the first Sunday in April every year.

How do I get to Twin Towns?2023-04-24T14:36:54+10:00

Gold Coast Airport is 10 minutes’ easy drive from Twin Towns. Regular flights operate from major Australian cities and many regional airports. Air Asia X, Scoot, Air New Zealand and Hong Kong Airlines operate international flights from Gold Coast Airport. Domestic airlines Qantas, Jetstar, Virgin Australia, Tigerair and Airnorth also operate from Gold Coast Airport. For information about flights, visit www.goldcoastairport.com.au

ATMs are located throughout Twin Towns on the ground floor and Level 1.

Do I need to be a member to book a function at Twin Towns?2019-09-25T11:38:55+10:00

No, you don’t have to be a Twin Towns member to book a function at the Club. However, there are plenty of reasons to join, including a range of members-only discounts on drinks and dining, and other offers and promotions.

Do my guests have to sign in to gain access to Twin Towns for the function?2019-09-25T11:39:26+10:00

Yes, entry to the Club is subject to regulations in the NSW Registered Clubs Act. Those who are not financial members of Twin Towns must produce photographic ID and sign-in as a visitor. Those who live within a five-kilometre radius of Twin Towns must be the guest of a member to enter the Club. Please ask your event coordinator if you have any questions about this. It’s easy to ensure your guests comply with this requirement and we can explain how to simplify the process.

Can I access Twin Towns before opening time if we are organising a function?2019-09-25T11:39:57+10:00

Yes, if you need to enter the Club before the 9am opening time, your event coordinator will be able to assist. Just ask.

Are Twin Towns function venues accessible for persons with disabilities?2019-09-25T11:40:44+10:00

 Yes, all Twin Towns function spaces are accessible for people in wheelchairs. Restrooms, including wheelchair accessible restrooms, are located on all function levels of the Club.

Can we supply our own food and beverages for our function at Twin Towns?2019-09-25T11:41:13+10:00

Due to Health Department regulations, food or beverages cannot be brought into the Club. The exception is a celebration cake which can be cut and served by staff. Please discuss the options and costs with your event coordinator.

Can I make changes to a function menu or beverage package, theme the catering to suit my style or have a specific dish or beverage on the menu that is preferable?2019-09-25T11:48:05+10:00

Yes, all you need to do is ask! Twin Towns catering team can work with you to present a menu that suits you and your guests. Ask your event coordinator for assistance.

Can Twin Towns chefs cater for special dietary requirements?2019-09-25T11:49:02+10:00

Whilst we will endeavour to accommodate special dietary requests for customers with food allergies or intolerances, we cannot guarantee completely allergy-free meals. This is due to the potential of trace allergens within the working environment and supplied ingredients.

Can we bring our own audio visual (AV) equipment or contract our preferred AV company to manage AV services for our function?2019-09-25T11:49:32+10:00

Yes, please speak to your event coordinator for assistance.

Do you have a list of recommended suppliers you can recommend for room theming, table settings, flowers or other requirements I may have for my function?2019-09-25T11:50:07+10:00

Yes, Twin Towns has a number of preferred suppliers who are familiar with the rooms and spaces and their possibilities for theming, especially for function. Your event coordinator can provide some options for you. 

Can we bring anything we need for our function, such as table settings, flowers, room theming, guest name cards, etc into the Club ahead of the day?2019-09-25T11:50:50+10:00

Your event coordinator can arrange access to your function venue or Twin Towns loading dock, which is located behind the main Club building. You can discuss appropriate drop-off and collection times to ensure this process is streamlined and convenient.

Can Twin Towns assist with providing entertainment for my function?2019-09-25T11:51:17+10:00

Twin Towns is one of Australia’s number one destinations for entertainment and has access to leading Australian artists and bands. The entertainment team and your event coordinator can work with you to deliver live music and entertainment. 

Can my function be held on a Sunday or public holiday at Twin Towns?2019-09-25T11:51:45+10:00

Yes, functions can be held at the Club seven days a week. However, please note that a 15% surcharge applies on Sundays and public holidays.

Can children attend functions at Twin Towns?2019-09-25T11:52:19+10:00

Children are permitted to attend functions at Twin Towns but those under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times whilst on the Club’s premises.
